Our History
1983: B.C. Furnace was established by English entrepreneur Bayne L. Vardy. Originally starting as a Furnace cleaning company, Bayne saw the potential to offer his customers a complete furnace maintenance program and so he coined the phrase and practice of providing a “Full Service & Safety Inspection”. Bayne has instilled a company culture of ‘complete customer satisfaction’ and his client-centric approach has helped take the company from the humble beginnings of a one-man start-up to a multi-million dollar company with over 18 vehicles and thousands of loyal customers.
2003: Bayne Vardy’s contributions in the Heating Industry as a New Canadian Entrepreneur was recognized by the Ethno business Council of British Columbia.
2005: B.C. Furnace fully expanded its functions to include Air Conditioning installation and service, thus the new name
‘B.C. Furnace & Air Conditioning Ltd’ was adopted.
2008: B.C. Furnace & Air Conditioning Ltd opens its new Showroom in Coquitlam. The company also celebrated 25 years of serving communities in the Lower Mainland.
2009: The company’s philosophy of total commitment to its customers and the environment is captured in the new slogan; “Fresh Air Begins with Fresh Thinking”. B.C. Furnace & Air Conditioning Ltd becomes an active campaigner for Carbon Monoxide Awareness among Canadians. |
