Bayne L. Vardy, born in North London, England (1954)
Bayne L. Vardy immigrated to Canada in 1980 to start his new life.
In 1983, Bayne L. Vardy established a furnace cleaning business that started off as a one-man operation. At that time, Bayne Vardy was 29 years old, and out of work. But Bayne was ready to send a shock wave throughout the Lower Mainland with a new concept in servicing furnaces.
From 1983 to 1988, the Lower Mainland saw a major change in the furnace industry... as this new furnace cleaning company “FURNACE SERVICE PLUS” was born.
In 1988, the FURNACE SERVICE PLUS continued to develop and grow but needed a new name – B.C. FURNACE SERVICE LTD. In 1990 when Bayne coined the fraises “FULL SERVICE & SAFETY INSPECTION” and “COMPLETE SERVICE AND SAFETY INSPECTION” B.C. Furnace Service Ltd. became an overnight multi-million dollars success and had now positioned itself as number 1 in the residential heating industry.
By 1991, the Company was still growing at an unbelievable rate; B.C. Furnace Service Ltd. hired more personnel to keep up with the demands of this expanding company.
Within 10 years, B.C. Furnace Service Ltd. had transformed from a small company to a small army of 15 service vehicles, 2 install trucks, a manager’s vehicle and more.
In 2003 Bayne Vardy’s contributions in the Heating Industry as a New Canadian Entrepreneur was recognized by the Ethno business Council of British Columbia.
B.C. Furnace Service Ltd. has proven that it has remained the Leader in the Heating Industry in more ways than one. It has set the benchmark that other heating companies continually try to model.
Now, it has grown to include SALES, INSTALLATION, SERVICE and a PARTS DEPARTMENT.
By 2005, B.C. Furnace Service Ltd. had fully expanded its functions to include Air Conditioning installation and Service, thus the new name B.C. Furnace & Air Conditioning Ltd. was adopted.
B.C. Furnace & Air Conditioning Ltd. has a Team of Certified and Licensed Technicians and it offers our customers a true 24-hour Emergency Service.
B.C. Furnace & Air Conditioning Ltd. is committed to it’s customers that is why it is consistently advancing to provide its the best and safest products in the market today. It also focuses on products that will promote energy savings and providing solutions.
2008 marks 25 years that Bayne has been serving the Lower Mainland communities.
